The Venue
The seminars of the User Conference 2006 will be held at the Hiflex training centre in Aachen which also houses the CIM Centre. This Hiflex demo centre (CIM Centre) is unique in the world and was opened in February 2005 at the Aachen head office in order to do justice to the marriage between MIS system and technical workflow systems.

The connectivity concept is demonstrated live through the connection of the Hiflex MIS to the systems from leading equipment and system suppliers. The systems from Adobe, Agfa, Esko, KBA, Kodak, Komori, MAN Roland, MBO, Muller Martini and Screen are installed at the Hiflex CIM Centre. Furthermore, there will be live links to customers who have, for example, connected Heidelberg presses with Hiflex.

During the seminars at the CIM Centre the interaction between the various systems will be demonstrated on three parallel screens, graphically portraying the workflow of a networked printing company. Interested participants will realise the full potential of multi-way, compatible connectivity when the Hiflex MIS not only connects the systems separately, but also manages the communication between the individual systems in a total integrated workflow. We will show this with respect to three CIP4 award winning Hiflex users (seminars no. 5, 6 and 7) who all work in a multi-vendor JDF environment and we will present the benefits achieved.

Besides JDF networking, there is also eBusiness networking with the final customer. If both concepts (JDF + eBiz) are mixed, a fully automated workflow is created that is also presented in the CIM Center on three screens.

Why take part?
Once again, the main reasons why you should attend the user conference:
  • Gather unique information that is not available anywhere else.
Only this event brings together this unique combination of users, administrators, experts and developers of the Hiflex MIS system.
  • Get an insight into the new functions of the Hiflex release 2006.
Hiflex experts give you detailed information on the new functions such as the concept of the new information cockpit (EIS), lots of new features in estimate and order processing, imposition layouts on the job ticket, credit status on screen, collective invoicing, CIP4 award winning JDF-networks, material booking via EDI and barcode, paper management (just-in-time), the new shipment module, CRM, sales projections, eBusiness and many more.
  • Get to know 'Best Practice' users and increase your company’s productivity.
See how other leading companies implement Hiflex as an organisation and production tool. Employees of these companies will be present and share their experience with you. You are guaranteed to take away important Hiflex knowledge.
  • Establish contacts with other Hiflex users.
Establish a network of people who have the same goal as you: Increase productivity and lower expenses. You will be certain to meet someone at the user conference who is not in direct competition with you. Benefit from each others experience.
  • Gain insight into the JDF opportunities of major manufacturers.
The concept of connectivity is demonstrated live through a link-up of the Hiflex MIS and the systems of leading suppliers of machines and systems.
  • Learn how to establish new business concepts with your customers based on internet technology.
See how intelligent solutions can help you and your customer to automate and streamline the purchasing of print products.
