 HIFLEX demonstrates its new FSC workflow at Graph Expo 2010

This new HIFLEX Workflow saves printers who are challenged with conforming to certification standards hundreds of hours of time and thousands of dollars in administrative costs, making the task easy and simple. HIFLEX is exhibiting in booth #463 and will also be exhibiting in the KBA booth #1255, the Standard Horizon booth #1244 and the Agfa booth #844 with each of these partner vendors providing an important integration and automation workflow, demonstrated in conjunction with HIFLEX MIS.” |

| HIFLEX is the first and only MIS vendor to provide a workflow for printers that helps them track all FSC and other Sustainability Initiative orders. This unique workflow allows users to define the type of jobs being entered at the beginning stage of order entry. As an FSC job is entered, the user is prompted to choose between ‘Mixed Product’ or ‘Recycled Product’ in a clever drop down menu. This drop down choice is then used to automatically select FSC or other Sustainability pertinent documents and flag the order as FSC for reporting purposes. The HIFLEX MIS Quote Letter, Order Confirmation, Job Ticket, Purchase Order, Skid Tag, Delivery Note and Invoice are all well marked and identified as FSC jobs with all required FSC details clearly marked. Included on all documents is the FSC Chain of Custody Number, instructions to the supplier on the PO and notification to all plant personnel on the job ticket, specifying that the order must be processed according to FSC procedures and guidelines. Inventory or Skid Tags are typically printed on green paper to visually tag them as FSC or other Sustainability Materials. In addition, the HIFLEX MIS-FSC workflow comes with standard FSC reports that detail FSC Paper Usage and FSC Paper Input Weight versus Output Weight. |
