HIFLEX MIS offers unparalleled flexibility and efficiency. The entire user interface and much of
the program logic can be modified without requiring specialized programming knowledge or
costly custom software development. The system precisely models the printer's workflow.
The client user interface runs on all major operating systems and can be adapted to customer needs.
All onscreen objects including fields, buttons, labels, etc. can be freely positioned and named. Drop-down
and search fields can be enabled behind input fields and input format can be specified. Since
all fields are SQL-capable, print-outs, analyses and calculations can be carried out in individual data
fields. Similarly, very different demands and data structures lend themselves to efficient modeling.
In short, we help you configure the HIFLEX system to meet your needs for analyzing your specific
workflow with these tools.
The underlying SQL database contains hundreds of additional fields which are available for storing
custom data. These custom fields can be seamlessly integrated into the user interface and used in
calculations, queries, printouts and so on. The system also provides seamless integration with standard
desktop software such as MS Word and Excel or e-mail programs. |

Precise modeling of the printer's workflow allows access to virtually any module, query, or report
from anywhere in the system and lets users link modules in any desired way. This means that users
have direct access to frequently needed data with a single keystroke or click of the mouse.
Most program logic in the HIFLEX MIS system can be adjusted by the user, either by editing configuration
tables or by using SQL and PHP. This allows the system to adapt as customers' standards and
business processes change.
The entire system was developed in C++ and PHP. Great value has been placed on platform independence:
the system runs with all Windows versions as well as on Mac OSX and Linux. The system's
open structure makes it usable over the internet and is enhanced by its strict alignment with the
standardized database query language, SQL. In addition, the system offers an open, documented
programming interface using our HIFLEX HPI/API and XML/SOAP commands, making it easy to integrate
with other applications such as graphical user interface (GUI) components. |
