The HIFLEX SQL tool is the interface to the HIFLEX MIS databases. It provides the
user with access to all data for detailed reporting and analysis. Any report can be
automatically executed at defined points in time or event-driven, and e-mailed to
the chosen recipients.
HIFLEX SQL is a database query tool for creating queries and reports from all data stored in the
HIFLEX system. It is based on the structured query language SQL, which was developed for relational databases.
Every installation contains standard queries. Queries can easily be copied and edited to further suit
a company's needs. Users can also create their own queries from scratch using a wizard-style query
assistant. The output can be carried out either text-oriented or graphically, for example, in HIFLEX
MIS or directly in Excel, Word or further PC programs. |

The email notification system integrated into the HIFLEX MIS can be configured for an automated handling
of external and internal communication processes (1. Reminders for customers, 2. Follow-up-list,
3. Notification of sent documents, 4. Material prognoses and then below the underline). |

A mail server is included in HIFLEX MIS system. It supports any e-mail program. E-mails are not
only comfortable for external communication but also ideal for internal notifications. The HIFLEX
mail-robot is a very powerful tool that automates the distribution of information, and is triggered by
pre-determined time intervals or by parameter-set ranges. It is primarily a controlling instrument and
the concept is to notify users with information while it still has value and can be acted upon to meet
deadlines and save money. A customer case study revealed that reductions in idle work of 60% can
be realized with the help of e-mail controlling.
Further reasonable examples are, for instance, a list of the previous day's new orders is automatically
sent to management each morning by e-mail or an alarm notifying the plant manager via SMS when
a machine is idle for more than 15 minutes. The HIFLEX mail robot is integrated into the HIFLEX
customer database notification system and can also be used for automatic dispatch of follow-up lists
for open quotes. Internal copies of mailed correspondence can be delivered to employees by means
of an e-mail distributor. The possibilities are nearly limitless.
