Integration of Third-Party Software, Word, Excel
The HIFLEX system can be integrated with third-party software such as spread-sheets, word processors and e-mail applications. All the data needed to feed these applications is centrally managed by the HIFLEX system.

In general, it is possible to link practically any popular software application with the HIFLEX system. For example, Microsoft Word is used to create correspondence automatically, with a single mouse click. All required data, such as customer name, contact person, product description, invoice data or product inventory, is transferred to Word, where it is automatically formatted according to the user's needs. Further examples include the transfer of job dockets and statistical data to an Excel Work-sheet, where further analysis and formatting can be accomplished.

Sending an e-mail to a customer requires no more than the click of a button. Clicking on a dynamic icon opens the desired e-mail program and the e-mail dialog box. The system displays customer addresses from the central customer database and automatically populates the Recipient field with the selected customer's e-mail address.

More practical examples: With a PDF viewer installed, you can view the layout for the selected order directly in the prepress system. You can store pictures of employees and customers in the customer and employee databases, or add a route-planning feature to provide directions to a selected customer address stored within the HIFLEX system.

The possibilities are limitless.
