The HIFLEX Job Docket is automatically created from data stored throughout the HIFLEX system, in
particular from the estimate and the order. The digital docket guarantees attention to short-notice order
changes during production.
Research in the printing industry shows that 90% of all orders experience at least one production-relevant
correction between conception and production.
HIFLEX Job Docket is date-stamped at creation and at every alteration, so a print-out of the docket
can easily be verified against the version currently stored in the system. Usually, it's only necessary to
print the cover sheet for use as a running docket. All detailed data necessary for production remain
solely in the digital job docket, ensuring that production always works with the current version
(ensured by inherent necessity).

The job docket's output includes all desired and relevant information - even the network structure
and its graphical representation. It permits completely individual customization of output and format
and can be displayed in Excel or Word. The output is comprised of multiple sheets that can contain
specifications for color, paper and carton and address labels and protocols for quality control.
The program automatically creates or updates job dockets. An estimate number or an order number
is the only input required, resulting in speed and precision in order processing. The database query
language SQL gives users access to all databases and enables them to design different versions to
suit varying needs, depending on company size, structure and printing methods.
Before work starts, the system displays the electronic job docket for an employee at a terminal. This
guarantees a check of the current status of production instructions. Through HIFLEX PCS (Production
Control System; see "SFDC and Production Status"),
the employee can check whether a docket can still be altered.
