| Rain Kaarma, Managing Director of AS Iloprint, explains "In our every day work we combine technologies, know-how and service in order to provide our

| Managing Director of HIFLEX Stefan Reichhart describes the most important features of the HIFLEX MIS: "Our business software covers all areas,
from estimation through invoice, including job costing, invoicing, and document management." And he continues: "With the estimate, an accurate
production plan is automatically generated that visualizes the entire production sequence. The relevant job data is transferred into the HIFLEX
planning system where the job is automatically scheduled, observing all dependencies between the different processes." And Lea Kimber now comments:
"The HIFLEX system really manages the job related communication processes efficiently and greatly improves order management." |
| In the automated workflow the HIFLEX MIS functions as the JDF Controller: it manages and controls the joint usage of all data relevant to production.
Iloprint plans to implement JDF-connectivity between the HIFLEX MIS, the Screen Trueflow PDF workflow management system and the printing presses from
MAN Roland and Heidelberg. Rain Kaarma says: "JDF-connectivity, as we have experienced it in action at HIFLEX reference implementations, enhances
transparency and flexibility throughout production. This provides the basis for getting more out of valuable machines and systems." Stefan Reichhart
contributes further details: "The practical and economic benefits of real-life JDF installations have been proven by award winning HIFLEX users. In the
international CIP4 Innovation Award 2005 and 2006 HIFLEX users were awarded four out of six awards and achieved second places in the remaining." And Rain
