HIFLEX repeats again two first place finishes of the CIP4 Innovation Awards, highlights and debuts its new 'HIFLEX goes Mobile'' capabilities and wins many new HIFLEX MIS and HIFLEX web2print customers worldwide.

Drupa-Highlight "HIFLEX goes Mobile"- HIFLEX very successfully debuted its new "HIFLEX goes Mobile" capability at DRUPA 2008. This new technology enables users remote access to estimating, CRM and JDF/JMF production status. Anyone with a PDA can now have mobile access to critical information within their HIFLEX systems back at the plant. This allows instant, remote creation of quotations, customer visit reports and real-time monitoring of production status while traveling on business or away from the office. "The practical benefits are obvious. Ampersand Printing is the first Canadian company, amid a new international contingent, to break into German domination of on-the-floor Job Definition Format (JDF) control. Until this year, Deutschland printing companies had won nine out of a possible 12 CIPPI Awards since the competition first began in 2005, organized by the CIP4 specification body.
